It's been a while since I have posted anything--since the election actually. I was going to do a series on third party candidates but some things came up that took up all my time. My apologies to anyone who may follow this blog.
Anyway, I have a lot to talk about and I plan on posting it very soon. Just a few things I'd like to talk about are GMOs and Monsanto and some ideas I had that I would implement if I were elected President, but not at the moment.
Right now I'd like to fill you in on what's been new with me--a little inside to what I have been up to, assuming anyone is even interested.
Back in December I fell into a multi-level marketing gig at this life insurance company. There's a lot on the internet about this company, and they receive some very mixed criticism. A lot of people consider this to be an illegitimate company because of the way they operate. Personally I would completely understand why a person would think this, but I don't believe it myself. It's just that when you get hired, it's not just a regular job you're getting into--it's considered a business opportunity and you're an independent contractor. I understood how things worked from the inside and so I know it's not a pyramid scheme or a scam, but it's really hard to get started if you're broke.
I ended up leaving that position for an hourly position as a Marketing Specialist at another insurance company (one that is actually well known by the public). I don't, however, want to publish the names of the current company I am at or the last company because I am a very opinionated blogger and I don't want people thinking my views reflect those of either insurance company.
So I am hoping that I will be able to make this work--posting regularly and everything. I was toying with the idea of putting ads on this blog, but I don't know if I want to do that, at least not on this particular blog.
Anyway, here's to new entries!
